Meehan's Industrial Fabrication Division is currently looking to fill the following positions:
General Labour with experience in an industrial environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous steel experience including operation of fork lifts and overhead cranes. Training will be provided for
Industrial Painter with experience in custom steel fabrications.
The ideal candidate will have experience with air assisted spray equipment in industrial enamels, epoxies and urethanes. This position requires an individual who can load and unload equipment in the paint booth, prepare the parts for coating, prime and top coat. The individual must be able to properly clean and maintain all the equipment in the paint department. Ideally when the successful candidate is not painting he or she will be helping with the cutting and preparation of metals and parts for use in the fabrication department. Candidate must have a valid drivers license.
Contract Designers with structural and mechanical experience.
We are currently interested in talking to contract designers who are looking to work on a project by project basis doing structural details and mechanical design. Large projects would require that the individual work out of our office in Milton; smaller design projects would not require the candidate to be on-site. All projects will require customer site visits to review the project requirements.
